The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that it is hosting the 7th edition of the International Franchise Exhibition (IFE) on 22 – 23 October at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center in Abu Dhabi, one of the most significant and most successful franchise events globally.
Organizing this great event comes as a result to the strategic partnership with the Emirates Association for Franchise Development.
The IFE acts as the perfect platform for local and international companies to display and promote their brands and trademarks for the Emirati market and to benefit from the distinguished opportunities the Emirati economy offers for companies to expand their investments in the entire Middle East.
The exhibition is expected to host more than 100 local and international exhibitors operating in 15 different sectors including tourism, entertainment, oil and gas, property development, fashion, hospitality, IT, financial institutions, trade, transport, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, education, food and beverages, retail, training, safety and security, manufacturing, and maintenance.
His Excellency Mohamed Helal Al Mheiri, Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said: “Organizing the event comes within the continuous efforts of the Abu Dhabi Chamber to develop and support the economy and to provide an encouraging business environment to empower companies and support their success. The exhibition also aims at increasing awareness and knowledge on franchising and the promising opportunities this sector provides for the UAE.”
Franchising has become one of the most promising economic sector considering it an important competitive platform and a key tool for investors and entrepreneurs. “The main goal behind this event is offering an outstanding opportunity for successful cooperation and active partnerships between foreign and Emirati companies with owners of small and medium enterprises as well as giving them the opportunity to share their experiences and take a closer look at the best international practices in franchising,” Al Mheiri added.
The two-day exhibition will include interactive sessions and workshops for companies and potential investors and will highlight the basics of franchising economy.
It is worth noting that the IFE attracted more than 4,000 visitors last year and witnessed the participation of more than 500 trademarks from more than 142 companies.
